With a little hemp and some crafting glue, I was able to make some funky decorations for my coffee table. I started by blowing up small water balloons I picked up at the dollar store

After blowing the balloons up, I taped down the ends to form a perfect circle

I than mixed my glue with some water so thin it out. After dunking the hemp into the glue mixture, i wound the hemp around the circular balloon

After achieving the desired depth, I tucked the end of the string into a hemp layer. I left the hemp balls to dry over night to allow the glue to harden

The next day, once the glue had dryed, i popped the balloons and was left with beautiful coffee table decorations!

Hope you enjoy!

Burlap Wall Art

While strollin' through the aisles of Peavy Mart, I came across some old Brazillian coffee bean burlap sacks. I figured at some point, my creative juices would start flowing for a new burlap project so i picked a few up.

After starring at them for a couple days trying to decide what to do with my burlap sacks, I decided to practice my painting skills. With some fabric paint and a little creativity, I made some great new wall art.

I cut the burlap sack in half so I was painting on one layer. After finishing my paintings, I wrapped the burlap around a wooden frame. With a few nails to hold the burlap in place, my wall art was complete! Easy Peasy!

Here's another one I've been working on!

Hope you enjoy!
